Gallery Open Night | Meet the Artist | Suzy Strout
Sydney based Suzy’s style is a combination of realism and impressionism with a wonderful use of colour and tone. ??She uses acrylics, oils, inks, oils pastels, collage and more recently cold wax to derive multiple layers of colour and texture.
Suzy started her career with the Australian Ballet School, which saw her perform both at home and internationally, before moving into theatrical costume and production design, in a career that spanned 40 years. More recently, Suzy has channelled that amazing creativity into visual arts. Suzy has held both solo and group exhibitions, and has been a finalist and award recipient.
Enjoy a glass of wine and some light refreshments as you have the opportunity to meet Suzy and hear her speak about her Art Journey, the inspiration behind her work and her overall creative process, whilst also enjoying the extensive variety of artworks from many other local artists on display in the Studio!
